WEDNESDAY 1st MAY 2013 - CHILDREN'S DAY
9.00am - "Despertà con dolçaina i tabalet": the tradition wake-up parade through the streets of the old town to which is invited all the kids of the neighbourhood. This will be followed by bocadillos donated by Mas y Mas, Bar Chaflán and P-Nanos CalÇat in the main square where there will be the traditional "Parque Infantil", inflatables play areas, music and cart rides with the CAE Tiraset.

10.00am - Gymkana Temática: themed fun event for kids teaching about accident preventiun organised by the Cruz Roja Juventud de Xàbia

9.00pm - Musical parade with "dolçaina i tabalet" and the excellent La Tuna de Xàbia to visit all the decorated flower crosses installed around the town.

12.30pm - Special visit to the old folk of the Fundación Residencia-Asilo Hermanos Cholbi for paella and a little gift for each person.

8.00pm - FLOWER OFFERING: the organisers, brotherhood, peñas, associations and all the neighbourhood in general will parade through the streets of the old town from the Plaza Marina Alta (Correos) and then make their offering of flowers to create a wonderful collage at the church.

8.00am - "Despertà con Charanga del Centre Artístic Musical de Xàbia" - the traditional wake-up call around the streets of the old town.

12 noon - Solemn Mass: performed by the Orfeón de Xàbia with diplomas presented to the "Mayorales" of 2013.

1.30pm - Mascletà: the explosive experience of the "mascletà", a celebration of noise.

7.00pm - Special Evening Mass: followed by the "Subida" of Jesús Nazareno, the rise of the image which is carried by its brotherhood through the streets of the old town and then up to the blue-domed chapel of Calvario, the procession accompanied by the Colla del Grup de Danses Portitxol and the Banda del Centro Artístico Musical de Xàbia. The evening will end with a firework display launched from the blue-domed chapel of Calvario.
